Once upon a time, in a cozy little cottage, lived a sweet girl named Cinderella. She had a stepmother and two stepsisters who weren't very kind. They made Cinderella do all the chores – sweeping, cooking, and cleaning – but Cinderella never complained. She always tried to be kind, even when it was hard.
One day, the King announced a grand ball! All the young ladies in the land were invited. Cinderella’s stepsisters were very excited, but they told Cinderella she couldn’t go. “You’re too messy!” they giggled. Cinderella felt a little sad, but she didn’t let it ruin her day. She finished her chores with a cheerful heart.
As Cinderella sat in the garden, feeling a bit lonely, a kind fairy appeared! With a wave of her wand, the fairy transformed a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage, mice into horses, and Cinderella’s old clothes into a sparkling gown. “But remember,” the fairy said, “the magic will disappear at midnight!”
At the ball, everyone was amazed by Cinderella. She danced with the Prince, and they talked and laughed all evening. The Prince thought Cinderella was the kindest and most beautiful girl he had ever met. He didn’t care about fancy dresses or sparkly shoes; he loved her gentle heart.
But as the clock began to strike twelve, Cinderella remembered the fairy’s warning! She quickly said goodbye to the Prince and rushed away. In her hurry, she lost one of her glass slippers.
The Prince was very sad to see her go. He decided he would find the girl whose foot fit the slipper. He searched the whole kingdom, and finally, he came to Cinderella’s house. The stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into the slipper, but it didn’t fit!
Then, the Prince saw Cinderella. He asked her to try on the slipper, and it fit perfectly! The Prince was overjoyed. He didn’t need a fancy title or a grand house to know Cinderella was special.
Cinderella and the Prince were married, and they lived happily ever after. Cinderella always remembered to be kind and gentle, and she used her kindness to help others. She learned that being kind and having a good heart is the most magical thing of all. And that’s what made her truly beautiful.
