2 min read ・ Age 3

Sir Leo the Lionheart was a knight-in-training, small but brave. He lived in a grand castle nestled beside a sparkling forest.

Every evening, as the sun dipped below the hills, a magical lantern lit the forest path, guiding lost travelers home.

One evening, the lantern flickered and went out. The forest grew dark and spooky, and scared animals hid in their dens.

Sir Leo felt a pang of worry for the lost travelers. He knew he had to do something!

He put on his shining armor, adjusted his brave helmet, and set off. He met a wise old owl who hooted a friendly hello.

The owl, with twinkling eyes, said, "Brave Sir Leo, the lantern needs kindness, not force! Follow the path of a soft, gentle breeze."

Sir Leo listened carefully. He followed the path of the soft breeze, it whispered through the leaves.

The breeze led him to a little stream, where a group of frogs huddled, their croaks quiet with fear. One frog was smaller than the others and looked lost.

"Don't worry little frog," said Sir Leo gently, "I'm looking for the lost lantern."

The little frog explained that he had blown on the lantern and inadvertently put out the light. He felt awful.

Sir Leo smiled. He knew that little mistakes happen. "Let's find the lantern together," he said, and the little frog hopped happily alongside.

They followed the whispering breeze and discovered a small, shimmering flower at the base of a big oak tree. The flower glowed faintly.

With the help of the little frog, Sir Leo carefully used a soft feather to gently nudge the flower. A warm light filled the forest, and the lost lantern glowed brightly once more.

All the animals came out, delighted to see the forest lit. They thanked Sir Leo and the little frog for their bravery and kindness.

Sir Leo knew that helping others was more important than just using strength. It made the forest safe for everyone. He went back to the castle, happy and proud of his friendship.

From that day on, Sir Leo the Lionheart was known not only for his bravery, but also for his kind heart and helping nature. A true knight indeed.
