Luna the Unicorn Learns to Share Her Sparkle

2 min read ・ Age 3

Luna was a very special unicorn. Her horn didn't just shine, it *sparkled*! It sprinkled glittery dust everywhere she went, making flowers bloom brighter and berries taste sweeter. But Luna loved her sparkle so much, she didn't like to share it. "It's *my* sparkle!" she'd say, trotting away from her friends.

One sunny afternoon, Barnaby Bear wanted to build a beautiful den. He asked Luna if she could sprinkle some sparkle on the branches to make them extra strong and pretty. "No, Barnaby," Luna said. "My sparkle is for making *my* mane look extra shiny!"

Rosie Rabbit wanted to decorate her burrow for a party. She asked Luna for a little sparkle to make the entrance glow. "I'm sorry, Rosie," Luna replied. "I need my sparkle to make the dandelions extra golden!"

Luna spent the whole day admiring her sparkly mane and golden dandelions. But something felt…wrong. Barnaby’s den looked plain, and Rosie’s burrow was dark. Her friends didn’t seem very happy. Luna realized her sparkle didn’t feel as bright when she wasn’t sharing it.

Slowly, Luna walked back to Barnaby. She touched her horn to the branches of his den, and *poof*! They shimmered with silver sparkle, becoming strong and beautiful. Barnaby’s face lit up! Then, she went to Rosie’s burrow and sprinkled sparkle around the entrance, making it glow with rainbow colors. Rosie hopped with joy!

Luna felt a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It was much brighter than any sparkle she’d ever made for herself. She learned that sharing her sparkle didn’t make it disappear; it made it grow! And when Luna shared, everyone felt a little bit more magical.

From that day on, Luna loved to share her sparkle with all her friends. She sprinkled it on everything – the trees, the streams, even the grumpy old badger’s garden! And every night, as Luna drifted off to sleep, she knew that the best kind of sparkle was the sparkle of friendship and kindness.
