Luna the Unicorn Learns to Share Her Sparkle

2 min read ・ Age 4

Luna was a very special unicorn. Her horn didn't just shine, it *sparkled*! It sprinkled tiny, rainbow sparkles everywhere she went. Luna loved her sparkle, and she loved making things beautiful. But sometimes, Luna didn't want to share her sparkle. She thought, 'My sparkle is *mine*!'

One sunny afternoon, Barnaby Bear was trying to build a tower of pebbles. But the pebbles were dull and gray. He sighed, 'Oh, I wish my tower could be a little more…magical!' Luna saw Barnaby, but she kept walking, clutching her sparkle close. 'If I share my sparkle, I won't have as much left for myself,' she worried.

Next, she saw Rosie Rabbit trying to paint a picture of a flower. But the colors were faded and sad. Rosie wiggled her nose and said, 'I wish I had brighter colors to make my flower really bloom!' Luna still didn't share. She thought her sparkle was too precious to give away.

Old Man Willow, the wisest tree in the forest, saw Luna walking by. He rustled his leaves and said gently, 'Luna, sparkle is even brighter when it's shared. It grows when you give it away.' Luna tilted her head. 'Grows?'

Old Man Willow explained, 'When you share something special, it makes others happy, and *that* happiness comes back to you, making your own sparkle even stronger.' Luna thought about this. She took a deep breath and walked back to Barnaby Bear.

She touched her horn to the pebble tower, and *whoosh*! Rainbow sparkles covered the pebbles, making them shimmer and shine. Barnaby Bear gasped with delight. 'Wow, Luna! It's the most beautiful tower ever!' Luna felt a warm glow inside – a glow even brighter than her sparkle.

Then, she went to Rosie Rabbit and sprinkled sparkle on her painting. The flower bloomed with vibrant, dazzling colors. Rosie hopped with joy. 'Thank you, Luna! It's perfect!' Luna’s heart felt full. She realized Old Man Willow was right.

Sharing her sparkle didn't make it disappear. It made it *grow*! And it made her friends so happy. From that day on, Luna loved sharing her sparkle with everyone in the forest. She learned that kindness and friendship were the most magical things of all. Now, close your eyes and let Luna’s sparkle fill your dreams with happy colors.
