Willow was a little wolf with a very cozy den. It was filled with soft moss, fluffy leaves, and her favorite sparkly stones. Willow *loved* her den, and she loved bedtime! Every night, she’d snuggle deep inside, all by herself.
One chilly evening, Willow heard a tiny sniffle outside. She peeked out and saw Barnaby Bear and Rosie Rabbit, looking very sad. “What’s wrong?” Willow asked.
Barnaby Bear rubbed his eyes. “Our den is… drafty,” he mumbled. “And Rosie’s burrow flooded with a little rain.” Rosie nodded, her ears drooping.
Willow thought about her cozy den. It was *her* special place. But then she remembered how much fun she had playing with Barnaby and Rosie during the day. She took a deep breath. “You can come in!” she said. “There’s plenty of room!”
Barnaby and Rosie’s faces lit up! They carefully squeezed into Willow’s den. It was a little snug, but Willow quickly rearranged her sparkly stones to make more space.
“Wow, this is so cozy!” Rosie exclaimed, snuggling into the soft moss. Barnaby Bear yawned happily. “Thank you, Willow,” he said.
Willow felt a warm glow inside. It felt even *better* having friends with her! They told stories about their day, and Willow shared her favorite sparkly stone with Rosie.
Soon, all three friends were yawning. Willow’s mama wolf came to tuck them in. “What a kind little wolf you are, Willow,” Mama Wolf said, smiling. “Sharing your cozy den makes it even more special.”
Willow snuggled between her friends. She realized that a cozy den was wonderful, but a cozy den *with friends* was the best thing in the world. And as she drifted off to sleep, she knew that sharing and kindness always made bedtime the sweetest.
From that night on, Willow, Barnaby, and Rosie often shared Willow’s den. They learned that even the coziest things are better when shared with friends.
