Leo loved bedtime, but sometimes his room felt a little…plain. One day, his grandma gave him a wonderful gift: a bedtime story projector! It wasn't a toy that *told* stories, but one that showed pictures on the ceiling and walls. Leo couldn’t wait to try it.
That night, Leo’s dad helped him set it up. They chose a little picture of a castle. *Whoosh!* Suddenly, a beautiful, sparkly castle appeared on Leo’s ceiling! It had tall towers, friendly flags, and even little twinkling lights. Leo gasped. It was even better than he imagined.
Leo pretended he was a brave knight in the castle, protecting it from…well, from sleepy dust bunnies! He zoomed his imaginary horse around the towers and waved to the friendly flags. He imagined a kind queen and a playful dragon who loved to blow bubbles.
His best friend, Maya, came over the next day. Leo was so excited to show her his projector castle. But when Maya asked if she could choose the next picture, Leo hesitated. He really wanted to keep playing with *his* castle.
Maya looked a little sad. Leo remembered what his mom always said: “Sharing makes everything more fun!” He took a deep breath and said, “Okay, Maya, you can pick! What would you like to see?”
Maya’s eyes lit up. She chose a picture of a sparkling forest. *Whoosh!* The castle disappeared, and now Leo’s room was filled with tall, green trees and glowing fireflies. It was magical in a different way!
Together, Leo and Maya imagined they were explorers in the forest, discovering hidden treasures and making friends with the forest animals. They laughed and giggled, and Leo realized his mom was right. Sharing *did* make it more fun.
When it was time for Maya to go home, Leo thanked her for sharing the adventure. He snuggled into bed, and his dad projected the castle back onto the ceiling. Leo closed his eyes, feeling grateful for his wonderful projector, his kind friend, and the power of imagination. He knew that even the plainest room could become a magical place with a little bit of sparkle and a lot of sharing.
Leo drifted off to sleep, dreaming of castles, forests, and all the adventures he and Maya would have tomorrow.
