Cocoa was a little bunny who *loved* chocolate. Not chocolate to eat, silly! Cocoa lived in a chocolate shop, and everything around her was made of chocolate – her bed, her toys, even the little flowers outside her window. She had a whole room full of chocolate treasures!
One evening, a little mouse named Millie peeked into the shop. Millie’s family lived behind the bakery next door, and they didn’t have many treats. Millie smelled the wonderful chocolate and wished she had just a tiny piece.
Cocoa saw Millie looking sad. She clutched her favorite chocolate rocking horse tightly. It was a beautiful, shiny brown, and Cocoa loved to rock and dream on it. She almost didn’t want to share.
But then Cocoa remembered what her mama bunny always said: “Sharing makes everything sweeter!” So, Cocoa hopped over to Millie. “Hello!” she said. “Would you like to rock on my chocolate rocking horse? Just for a little while.”
Millie’s eyes lit up! She carefully climbed onto the rocking horse, and Cocoa gently helped her rock back and forth. Millie giggled with delight. It *was* a wonderful rocking horse!
Cocoa felt a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It felt even better than rocking on the horse herself! She then offered Millie a tiny chocolate flower from her window box. “Here,” she said. “For you.”
Millie was so grateful. “Thank you, Cocoa!” she squeaked. “This is the best chocolate flower ever!” She gave Cocoa a little hug.
Cocoa and Millie rocked and played until it was time for Millie to go home. Cocoa realized that sharing her chocolate treasures hadn’t made her have *less* fun; it had made her have *more*! She felt happy and warm inside.
Cocoa snuggled into her chocolate bed, feeling grateful for her new friend. Sharing her chocolate had made her evening so much sweeter. She closed her eyes and dreamed of chocolate adventures with Millie.
And as Cocoa drifted off to sleep, she knew that the best treats aren’t just the ones you eat, but the ones you share with a friend. Sweet dreams!
