Leo the Lion Cub was getting sleepy. Very, very sleepy! Mama Lion said, "It's time for bed, Leo, but tonight, we're going to bed… on a train!"
Leo’s eyes sparkled. Not a real train, of course, but a pretend one! Mama Lion made a train with blankets and pillows in the living room. "All aboard the Sleepy Time Express!" she called.
Leo climbed aboard, snuggling into a fluffy pillow. Mama Lion pretended to be the conductor. "Choo choo! Next stop, Dreamland! Please keep your eyes closed and your sleepy heads rested."
The Sleepy Time Express began to chug along. *Chugga chugga, choo choo!* Mama Lion gently rocked the blanket train. Leo imagined looking out the window. He saw fluffy sheep jumping over fences, and twinkling stars waving hello.
"What do you see, Leo?" asked Mama Lion softly. "I see… sleepy clouds!" Leo yawned. *Chugga chugga, choo choo!* The train went through a tunnel made of blankets. It was dark and cozy inside.
Mama Lion told Leo about all the wonderful dreams waiting for him in Dreamland. Dreams of playing with his friends, and eating yummy berries, and building tall towers with blocks.
Leo felt his eyelids getting heavier and heavier. *Chugga chugga, choo choo!* The train slowed down. "Now we are arriving at Dreamland Station," Mama Lion whispered.
She tucked Leo in with his favorite blanket. "Close your eyes, little one, and let the sweet dreams carry you away." Leo snuggled close to Mama Lion, feeling safe and warm.
The Sleepy Time Express had delivered Leo safely to the land of sleep. *Chugga chugga… shhh…* Even the train was getting sleepy now. And soon, Leo was fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams of trains and fluffy sheep and wonderful adventures.
Mama Lion smiled. Every night, the Sleepy Time Express would be ready to take Leo on a peaceful journey to dreamland. And every night, Leo would drift off to sleep, happy and loved.
